Charging the future: EV chargers in Grande Prairie
Canadian cities are increasingly moving to address the significant growth in demand for EV charging infrastructure as electric vehicles (EVs) move into the mainstream. Bordered by the Rockies to the west and just five hours from Edmonton, it is also an increasingly green place to play as a new EV charger network makes it easier for residents and visitors alike to fuel their electric vehicles (EVs). While not fully established yet, there are also more and more level-2 rapid charges being installed in key locations, malls, public parking lots, and along highways around the city of Grande Prairie. These range from Level 2 chargers, suitable for destinations with longer stops, such as dining or shopping, to DC fast chargers that can deliver an 80% charge in just 30 minutes, ideal for on-the-go charging requirements.
